Course Information

Kinesio Taping is a relatively new technique to Australia - even though it has been used extensively in other parts of the world since it's development in the late 1970's.

Extensive use at major sporting events like the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the recent Australian Tennis Open along with testamonials from elite athletes like Lance Armstrong have seen the profile of Kinesio Tape increase significantly in the last few years as more and more health professionals realise how the techniques and the tape can benefit their clients.

However, despite it's high profile in the sporting arena, Kinesio Tape is respected on a clincial level in general therapy, particularly lymphoedema where it helps to accelerate the reduction of swelling and to open up lymphatic pathways.
