Mark Oliver combines his extensive clinical knowledge with his understanding of the Mulligan Concept to demystify examination and treatment of the sacroiliac joint and pelvis
This 2 day practical workshop provides participants with new examination and treatment skills for SIJ, pubic symphysis and pelvic dysfunction. Using the Mulligan Concept and mobilisation with movement (MWM) techniques, Mark has developed a system of analysis and treatment that greatly simplifies the current approach to SIJ and pubic symphysis dysfunction.
About the Instructor
Mark Oliver is a New Zealand and Australian qualified Manipulative Physiotherapist and has a private practice in Busselton, Western Australia. He is a Clinical Educator with 30 years clinical experience and Australia’s most experienced accredited Mulligan Concept teacher.
Mark has completed a research Masters examining lumbar spine biomechanics, has published in international journals, written textbook chapters and was a lecturer on the Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy and Sports Physiotherapy courses at Curtin University.
He has developed new methods of evaluation and treatment for sacroiliac joint and TMJ disorders utilising mobilisation with movement techniques and conducts lectures and clinical workshops on these subjects internationally. Mark was recently presented an Australian Physiotherapy Association (WA) award for contribution to physiotherapy education "An award presented to an APA member who has made an outstanding contribution to physiotherapy education".
